Ash and Annemarie: I was never lost

This drawing comes from a point in Ann's story where she meets her father again. While Ash is happy to see his baby girl, Ann isn't so pleased to see him. When he claims he found her since she was lost, she snaps and said she was never lost. She ran off on purpose and didn't just lose her way. She tells him she's happy where she is and she doesn't want someone so overbearing in her life. Being blunt, she tells him to get. Ash, hurt and angered by her words, says that if she ever needs a father, don't come to him before leaving.

This goes on another "poor Ash" train. I mean, he spent quite a bit of his life looking for his daughter, and when he finds her, he learns that she she hates him and he wasted all his time. 
This goes to a poor Annemarie thing because she figures the only reason her father loves her is because she reminds him of her mother; he only cares because he sees someone else in her. 

That's pretty much the story for this... 
The reason I drew this is pretty silly, actually. I drew a picture of Annemarie on paper for a friend of her in this pose. Seeing that I liked it, I traced on the computer. I wanted her to be yelling at someone other than air, and I was thinking Luke, but her father makes more sense. The background was cheaply done in about 20 minutes and I take no pride in it. The lineart I think is good, though.
